Updated, clean, felt very safe. Totally revamped since last trip (before Covid). Front desk attendants very helpful. Shuttle service a huge plus. Parking attendants very efficient. One should be aware that this is a traffic-busy, very local neighborhood.

Hotel customer service was top notch. I was promptly picked up within 5 minutes from the airport in their complimentary shuttle. The front desk team members were welcoming. Their lobby lounge had a good variety of snacks and beverages as well. The bedding is nice and comfortable.

Great place to stay if you want to try some of the many great restaurants in Flushing. The front desk staff were friendly, and the shuttle driver even gave us an umbrella just to get from the drop off spot to the door about 20 feet away. The decor appears to be from the last generation of Sheratons, but the lobby is comfortable and well maintained. I had to take off a star because our room carpet was torn and looked worn; and also, the ghost. Well, maybe a ghost. Both nights we were there the motion light in the bathroom came on in the middle of the night and woke me up.

We chose this hotel because it was close to an event we were attending. We stayed at this hotel in 2014 and it has been upgraded since then. The hotel is in the middle of Chinatown which may affect your decision. It is near shopping and lots of food choices. I must say that all the people we dealt with from front desk, lobby cafe, housekeeping and shuttle driver were all very friendly. We even had a few managers stop us and ask us how our experience was. The restaurant has been put in the lobby and it has a limited menu. However it worked out for us as we were not looking for a huge cooked breakfast. The shuttle is a great deal as they will pick you up at the airport or you can use it for your return flight. It's no charge which is a great deal for New York. We would stay at this hotel again!

I stayed here for 3 nights and would stay again. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because the room was a little dated and worn (wall paper peeling a little). But it was clean and the bed and linens were comfortable. The other things that kind of bothered me were, no security to get to guest floors in the hotel - anyone could take the elevator up to any floor. I stayed on the 15th floor and when I wanted to go to the fitness center on the 7th floor, I had to take one elevator down to the lobby and then go to a different bank of elevators to get up to the 7th floor - weird. Finally, I'm not a fan of a light goes on when you enter the room - especially the bathroom at 2:00 in the morning. I will say the fitness center was really nice - new equipment and well stocked with cardio, weights and a cable pull down weight system. The lobby restaurant/bar was small but nice. Decent selection for breakfast and dinner and they make a mean Old Fashioned.
